Latvia in the 20th Century

Target audience: grade 9–12

This lesson strengthens pupils’ knowledge and understanding of the events of 20th century Latvian historical events.

Pupils strengthen their knowledge and understanding of the most important 20th century events in Latvia, from World War I to Latvia’s accession to NATO and the European Union. Pupils analyse different historical sources and  revise what they have learned at school and at the museum.
