Mittens, Gloves…
236 photographs of gloves and mittens provide a snapshot of the LNMH collection and introduce the 19th and 20th century knitting tradition of Latvia.
Photographs of the Monuments Board expeditions from the 1920s-30s reflect the entire process – from processing the wool to the final result, the knitted mitten. Visitors can also see the names of various patterns documented during the expeditions.
