Guided tours

The museum offers guided tours for schoolchildren at three locations – Riga Castle, Dauderi and the Popular Front Museum. Guided tours must be booked in advance by contacting the respective venue.

The Riga Castle tour or a guided tour in the Latvian history exhibition “Streaming Time” is available for groups of up to 30 people.

Guided tour for groups of up to 10 people (up to 90 minutes)
30 EUR + entrance ticket for each participant.

Guided tour for groups of 11 to 30 people (up to 90 minutes)
40 EUR + entrance ticket for each participant.

The Dauderi tour is available for groups of up to 30 people. During the tour, you can explore the history of Dauderi house and its development into a museum, see the Villa fon Büngner master’s room, the study of State President Kārlis Ulmanis, and Gaids Graudiņš’s collection of Latvian exile artefacts. The story of the exhibition not only traces the house’s history, but also provides an insight into cultural history of Latvia in the 19th-21st centuries.

The Popular Front Museum is open to groups of up to 30 people. The tour takes place in the museum’s exhibition dedicated to one of the most striking periods in Latvian history – the Third Awakening – and the role of the Latvian Popular Front in the restoration of Latvia’s independence.

Admission to the Popular Front Museum is free of charge.
