Open hours of the gift shop in Riga Castle: the shop is open during the open hours of the museum. The cash register closes 15 minutes before the closing time of the museum.
When the museum is closed, publications and souvenirs in a few weeks time will be available at museum’s online shop.

Bicycle parking
Riga Castle has a wheelchair lift, a specially equipped toilet, and benches for comfortable seating. During this stage of the Riga Castle restoration, the lift is not available in the cellars and on the 5th floor of the Lead Tower.For wheelchair access to the Riga Castle, please contact the Information Centre.
When attending events at Riga Castle, there may be an unexpectedly large number of visitors, which can cause crowding in the narrowest areas of the castle and cause inconvenience.
The museum offers guided tours of Riga Castle also in easy language – this and other special needs must be mentioned when applying for the service.
The museum reserves the right to close for visitors the premises where the event is taking place (e.g. during concerts, lectures, seminars and other planned events) if they have not purchased tickets for this event.
Taking photographs and filming is possible during museum events at Riga Castle. If you object to being photographed and filmed, we kindly ask to notify about it the museum Information Center before the event.
