Museum’s spring holiday offer for schoolchildren
On 12 March at 12:00 museum lesson for students of grade 7-12 “Riga Castle. Eras and Inhabitants”. The lesson, dedicated to exploring Riga Castle, allows schoolchildren to interactively learn about the restored premises and history of the castle by taking on the role of the castle’s inhabitants from different eras.

On 14 March at 12:00 museum lesson for students of grade 1-6 “Get to Know Riga Castle”. In the lesson, schoolchildren get to know Riga Castle – one of the best-preserved castles of the Teutonic Order in the Baltic Sea region with more than 500 years of history. The recently restored Riga Castle is not only an excellent monument of architecture and art, but also a witness to historical events – important decisions for Latvia were made in this building by the rulers of different times.
