The museum invites to celebrate 4 May at the Popular Front Museum

This year – 35 years after the adoption of the Latvian Declaration of Independence – the Latvian National Museum of History invites you to celebrate 4 May in a place that is directly connected with the Third Awakening and the processes of regaining independence – the LNMH Popular Front Museum. The programme “35th Independence Spring at the Popular Front Museum” will be available both in person and remotely.

There will be guided tours in Latvian at 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 and outdoor tours (also in Latvian) at 12 and 14. Videos will be on display depicting the 4 May 1990. The museum has prepared pages for colouring in for younger musem visitors.

Remotely there is a possibility to browse through the eMuseum resources: https://emuzejs.lnvm.lv/info/aktuali/4-maijs?lng=en  or to take a walk: https://ej.uz/4maijacels
