Guided tours and activities in the Dauderi division allow you to trace not only the twists and turns of the house’s history, but also to learn about cultural and historical developments in the 19th-21st centuries throughout Latvia. Dauderi house, its history, different owners, and radically different functions are vivid witnesses to the blossoming of culture, but also to the rapid changes of regimes, fractures, and the ravages of war, as well as to attitudes towards cultural heritage.
Guided tours
The tour is available for groups of up to 30 people. During the tour, you can learn about the fate of Dauderi House during the Soviet period and its development into a museum, see the master’s room of the Villa fon Büngner, the study of former State President Kārlis Ulmanis, as well as the collection of exile objects collected by Gaids Graudiņš.
