Latvian National Museum of History opens education room “Explorer’s Attic” at Riga Castle
In the renovated premises of the Riga Castle’s upper floor the “Explorer’s Attic” – specially equipped education room – is available for families with children and schoolchildren. On weekdays, the museum offers educational activities for school groups, while individual visitors and families with children are welcome on Fridays from 15:00 to 20:00, on weekends and school holidays.
The textual content of the education room is only in Latvian. The English introductory texts are available as on-site booklets or downloaded as pdf.
The “Explorer’s Attic” has been created with co-financing from European Union funds, attracted by the Ministry of Culture.

From 21 March:
F 15:00–20:00
Sa–Su 10:00–17:00
Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays.
Open during school holidays.
