On 9 January in the refectory of Riga Castle a concert “The Praise of Folly” will be held

On 9 January 2026 at 18:00 a concert entitled “The Praise of Folly” will be held. It will take place in the refectory of the Riga Castle. It will feature Ieva Nīmane (flutes and oboe), Ainārs Paukšēns (viola da gamba), Pēteris Vaickovskis (positive organ) and Vilis Daudziņš (actor).

Tickets have to be booked in advance: info@lnvm.gov.lv or +371 67221357 (the booked tickets will be sold on the spot before the concert). Ticket price 5 EUR.

Venue: Riga Castle (entrance from Daugavas gāte).
