End of essay competition “The Baltic Way – Awakening of Europe”

Marking the 35th anniversary of the Baltic Way campaign, the Popular Front Museum Division of the Latvian National Museum of History invited schoolchildren of Grade 9 to 12 to participate in the essay competition “The Baltic Way – Awakening Europe”. In the essay competition, young people were invited to write their “Baltic Way Call” for today’s Latvia, the Baltic States and Europe, focusing on the domestic and foreign political challenges of our time.

On 20 September the award ceremony took place in Riga Castle.
