Photo exhibition “Kārlis Ulmanis Relaxes in the Dauderi Garden”
The photo exhibition reflects the time from 1937 to 1940, when the mansion of the Adolf von Bingner family (now the Dauderi house) with the adjoining garden and park was grandly decorated as the summer residence of the President of the Republic of Latvia, Kārlis Ulmanis. At the end of the 1930s, a new gardener’s house and greenhouses were built for the needs of Ulmanis residence on the site of the current school building. Grapes, other fruit, vegetables, flowers and plants were grown there for the president’s needs.
