At the Popular Front Museum, you can learn about Latvia’s recent history on a guided tour or by taking part in one of the museum lessons.
Guided tours
A guided tour of the Popular Front Museum tells about one of the most vivid periods in Latvian history – the Third Awakening, its causes, execution and results, paying special attention to the main organisations of the movement – the Latvian Human Rights Protection Group “Helsinki–86”, the Environmental Protection Club, and the Popular Front of Latvia – and their role in the restoration of Latvia’s independence.
