On 1 September free entrance for schoolchildren to the museum at Riga Castle

On 1 September on presenting a valid schoolchildren identity card, the entrance to the Latvian National Museum of History is free of charge.

There is a possibility to visit the exhibitions “Livonian Castles”, “Streaming Time” and to get acquainted with the renovated premises of the Riga Castle.

At the end of the museum visit schoolchildren are invited to spend the time in the “Explorer’s Attic” and take some photographs.

Other family members have to buy an ordinary ticket.
